Common Core math games

Playable math learning paths for Grade 3 standards.

Browse CCSS-aligned Grade 3 Operations and Algebraic Thinking games for multiplication, division, word problems, unknown numbers, and arithmetic patterns.

Why Grade 3 first

A complete Grade 3 OA slice before more grades.

KMaze starts with Grade 3 because the current site already has a complete Common Core Operations and Algebraic Thinking slice: 5 standards, 5 series, and 40 playable levels. The goal is to prove the curriculum-to-game model deeply before expanding to Grade 4, Grade 5, fractions, decimals, or another subject.

Not a permanent limit

Other grades are planned after this Grade 3 model proves the standards, game levels, worksheets, and learning-evidence pattern.

Why 3.OA works

Multiplication, division, word problems, unknown numbers, and patterns can be generated, checked, and taught through gate-based game mechanics.

What happens next

The next math expansions should reuse this engine for Grade 4 fractions, Grade 5 decimals, and selected fact-fluency hubs once this slice is stronger.

How to choose a game

Start from the learning intent, then play the matching series.

Teachers, parents, and homeschool users usually need a game for a specific skill, not a list of standards. Use the skill entry points to find the right game, then use the standard notes to understand what the student is practicing and what should come next.

For fluency

Start with multiplication and division facts within 100 before moving into mixed operation gates.

For reasoning

Use unknown-factor, unknown-number, and word-problem levels when students need to connect facts to equations or situations.

For patterns

Use arithmetic pattern levels when students need to explain table relationships, rules, and repeated changes.
